3rd Grade Math: Multiplication Facts       3rd grade math requires your child to learn how to:

• Put in order, count, and make groups of : 10, 100, 1000. example: 100 is made of 10 -10's or 240 is made of 24-10's

• Write, solve, and explain multiplication facts:example: 2x8 is 2 groups of  8.  

•  Master these 3rd grade multiplication first: facts first:                                                                                           0's   1's    2's    5's  10's          
•  Once the above are mastered, here are the rest :

3's    4's    6's     7's    8's     9's

To simplify things we  created 11 multiplication songs and  workbook guide:(Click on each one for  a sample):

• Count by 2's,4's 5's, and 10's to 1000 starting at any given number.

• Understand that repeated addition is multiplication when your thinking about whole positive numbers

• Understand and explain the "communicative property" when it comes to multiplication. (example: 2x5 is the same as 5x2).
